Privacy policy
Baseline Health Sync is operated by Chetan Goel for personal health and fitness review using the owner’s accounts.
Information accessed
With Google consent, the app reads activity and exercise, steps, sleep, weight, body fat, heart-rate measurements, and related health metrics. Google Health access is read-only. A separate Google Calendar connection reads the workout calendar and allows requested event creation, editing, or deletion.
Authorized Hevy workout and body-measurement records and MyFitnessPal food logs can also be included. Nutrition logs currently come from MyFitnessPal; the Google Health connection does not request nutrition access.
Purpose and sharing
Information is used for personal training, nutrition, and recovery review. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used for lending or insurance decisions. The app is not a research study or a medical service.
A dashboard copy is hosted on an OVHcloud server administered by the owner. Google supplies authorized Health and Calendar data; Hevy receives selected weight entries only when the owner requests that sync. If the owner invokes the local connector in Claude or ChatGPT, the requested records may be sent to Anthropic or OpenAI respectively. Those requests are subject to the owner’s account settings and the provider’s terms. The public informational pages do not send health records to these services.
Use of data received from Google Health is limited to the personal fitness features described here, consistent with the Google Health API Developer and User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements. Google API data is also subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and access
Connection tokens and generated reports are stored on the owner’s Mac, which uses FileVault encryption. The OAuth client secret is stored in the macOS Keychain. The hosted dashboard uses HTTPS and requires a trusted device certificate. Administrative access to the server is restricted to the owner’s authorized access.
Current reports and any copies or backups remain until removed by the owner. The app does not promise automatic deletion after a fixed period.
Disconnecting and deleting copies
- Stop the dashboard’s scheduled refresh on the Mac.
- Remove Baseline Health Sync from Google Account connections for each connected account.
- Remove the app’s local tokens, generated reports, hosted dashboard files, and any retained backups. Remove assistant conversations containing requested records through the relevant assistant’s controls.
Revoking Google access stops future access; it does not delete copies already generated or the original records held by Google, Hevy, or MyFitnessPal. Those source records are managed in their respective apps.
